Today we will explore the oldest culture in Morocco “Fes” the intellectual capital city. It has the oldest university in the world El-Qaraouine which founded by Fatima El-Fihri, in Fes there is two parts the oldest and traditional “Fes-El- Bali” Medina and the new part “Fes-El-Jdid. Also we can see the beautiful and traditional way of building mosques, however the Plazas, Andalusian neighborhoods, palaces and museums. We will spend our night in one of the traditional Riads.
After Breakfast you’ll start travelling southeast to Merzouga via Azrou and Errachidia. Your first stop will be at Ifran, referred to as "the Switzerland of Morocco", and then to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at the famous cedar forest - the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbarian apes. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Er Rachidia. After lunch , your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will drive through welcoming Berber villages to Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty - the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad. after relaxing few minuts in Merzouga,we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in nomad tents.
When the sun is rising at the top high dunes, it creates a magical scenery worth to wake up earlier to observe it. Take your breakfast and go with the camels to the hotel for a shower and then continue via Erfoud and Rissani to Todra Gorges. They are spectacular limestone river canyons to discover and appreciate its beauty. Stay the night in the arrival at Valley of Dades.
Take your breakfast, and ride over the Dades Gorges before start driving to Marrakesh. We’ll be driving through the thousand Kasbah’s route to Ouarzazate, and then continue to see the rose Valley situated at Kelaat M’gouna in which the pure cosmetic products such as the rosewater are produced from the roses. Lunch will be at Ait Ben Haddou, which is a well-known castle that was belonged to the Glaoui Pasha. A discovering visit to the Kasbah followed by a drive toward the pass Tichka and the Atlas Mountains to end the tour at Marrakesh.
Sightseing of Marrakech start at 8:00 am with local guide. One of the mazing places in the red city or as it knowns over the world “Marrakech”, and that we will visit called “Saht Jamaa el-Fna” it’s very famous public place known by the diffrent activities producing there. Marrakech also known with the traditional building which we are going to see while we are there: Menara, near to the Koutoubia Mosque or you can also call it the Koutoubia books, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens; also we will visit its traditional souks. Overnight we will spend at one of the Riads.
