3 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga

Day 01 :

Marrakech – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges

We will start from Marrakech before 8:00 am, in order to drive to Ouarzazate, also known as “Gateway to the Sahara”, a former caravan town on the silk and salt route in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Then we will pass through the Berber town of Taddert and over the 2260 meters high Tizi n’Tichka pass.

After passing through Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass, we will stop at the famous Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate. The Kasbah has one of the most intriguing red earth castles lining the ancient road of the Thousand Kasbahs and is a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987. We will have our lunch at the Kasbah and continue on our way to Dadés Gorge via Ouarzazate- “The Hollywood of Africa”.

On our way through the “road to the Thousand Kasbahs” & the fascinating “sand castles”, we will stop at Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city” known for its roses and annual rose festival during the month of May. Then we will continue to our hotel in the heart of the Dadés Gorges, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan evening meal and next morning breakfast.

Day 02 :

Boumalne Dades – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Arfoud – Merzouga Dunes

After morning breakfast, we will explore the sites around Dades Valley and Todra Gorges. Lunch will be taken at any of the cafés on our way. Merzouga will be the final destination of day 2. From there, camels will take us to our Berber desert camp via the Dunes of Erg Chebbi. Our stay will be at the desert camp that includes accommodation, evening meal & next day morning breakfast in traditional Berber tent.

Day 03 :

Merzouga – Rissani – Nqob – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

our guides in the camp will wake you up early in the morning to view the amazing sunrise in the dunes which is really worth.after sunrise we go back to the riad to have a complete breakfast ,you will have time to have a shower before we depart.it will be a long trip back to marrakech.we will drive back to marrakech through rissani、some berber village、atlas mountains.we will have many stops for the beautiful landscapes on the way and arrive in marrakech at around 8pm.our driver will send you back to your accomodation, here is the end of our 3 days desert wishing you have the best experience with our Morocco Desert Sahara Tours.
